Nina Stromqvist

Nina Stromqvist is a Swedish born, Australian based curator and artist. Research interests are focused upon contemporary art practices from the Nordic and Trans-Tasmin regions, particularly in relation to sonic histories and the body. Nina has held curatorial positions at the Australian War Memorial and Art Gallery of New South Wales, and has worked both nationally and internationally with a number of arts organisations and collaborators. Nina lectures in contemporary art at the University of Sydney, and has been published across many art journals and publications including Artlink, RealTime Magazine, DAS Platforms, and Art & Australia.

Nina is a Phd candidate at the University of Sydney, researching, writing and curating on Trans-Tasman and Nordic contemporary art practices.
