Michelle Keown is Professor of Pacific and Postcolonial Literature at the University of Edinburgh. Relevant book-length publications include Postcolonial Pacific Writing: Representations of the Body (Routledge, 2005); Pacific Islands Literature: The Postcolonial Literatures of Aotearoa/New Zealand (Oxford University Press, 2007); and Anglo-American Imperialism and the Pacific: Discourses of Encounter (Routledge, 2018).
