Jenna Warwick

Jenna Rain Warwick is a an emerging Artist, Writer and Curator working in Birraranga/ Naarm. A proud Luritja Woman, she uses every opportunity to make work that furthers the voices of First Nation Peoples. She will be graduating with a Bachelor of Art History and Curating from Monash University in 2020. Recently she worked on written material with Taungurung artist Steven Rhall in conjunction with This Mob’s takeover of West Space. Her writing deals with the transactional relationship of power and the multiple threads that exist outside of formed definition and English language. She was also featured in this year’s Yirramboi First Nations Art festival as part of Dis Rupt, a youth driven engagement responding to the Birrarung. Jenna Rain comes from a filmmaking background and cinema will always be her first love. She is currently working on putting together a Blak film club with Artist and curator Kate ten Buuren.
