Simon Pericich is an artist whose practice has been described as ‘hysterical’ and as ‘relational aesthetics for perverts’. Ironically, such comments are not intended as criticism, celebrating rather than questioning the values of work that revels in the dark side of human nature. Since 2008 he has been curator at First Site Gallery, RMIT University.
